Sam Hendricks grew up in Lynchburg, Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia in 1986. He joined the USAF and flew RF4C and F15E fighters during his service. He earned three aerial achievement medals during combat missions in Operation Desert Storm.
He participates in the World Championship of Fantasy Football (WCOFF), NFFC and FFPC and has won numerous league championships in his 19-year fantasy football career.
